Why I’m building a personal home base before WWDC
A personal site gives WWDC notes, experiments, and engineering thoughts a place that can last longer than a feed.
WWDC always creates more thoughts than a social feed can hold. There are announcements, sessions, API details, screenshots, half-formed app ideas, and small technical questions that become clearer only after a few days of building.
I want a place where those notes can accumulate without needing to become polished essays immediately. A personal site is useful because it can hold different levels of fidelity: a short observation, a longer article, a project log, or a collection of links worth revisiting later.
Why now
The closer WWDC gets, the more useful it is to already have the container ready. The goal is not to launch a perfect publication. The goal is to remove friction before the interesting material arrives.
For me, that means a simple MDX workflow, good typography, and pages that can grow naturally around iOS architecture, SwiftUI, developer tooling, and indie products.
What belongs here
This site should work as a professional home base, but it should still sound like a person. Some posts will be technical. Some will be about product taste, Apple platform direction, or the practical side of shipping software in fintech.
The common thread is the engineering perspective: what feels durable, what feels overcomplicated, and what becomes easier when the tooling and architecture are shaped with care.
